PORTRAITURE - LIGHTING SPECIFICS Usually 4-9 sessions

This class addresses specific solutions to the challenges that students face as they make the transition from advanced amatuer to semi-professional; set building, props, using professional models, scheduling sessions, setting up numerous shooting environments for quick assignments, etc.

The photography produced in this course equals or exceeds the professional level in our region. All the work is suitable for portfolio and marketing purposes: To pitch clients at advertising agencies, web design companies, independent firms and private individuals. Photos produced in this class are often used commercially.

Jeffery Luhn hired noted jazz singer Lisa Taylor to model for class and stay for a CD cover shooting session. Student Reija Bolwell took the photos to the lleft. Rob Ridder took the shot at lbottom left and stayed to assist on the job. Jeffery Luhn took the photo of Lisa at the bottom right, combining it with another shot to create the final CD cover. It is typical to produce commercial photos in the advanced classes.
